For over 30 years Darryl Beasley has been involved quite actively in the real estate industry having earned distinction and recognition among his peers. He is Author of the National selling book, Everything About Home Loans, a 333-page financial guide to buying, selling, building or refinancing a home, and host of his own weekly radio show, "Let's Talk Real Estate." He is the recipient of numerous designations including ABR, GRI, CRS, and CRB.
His experience includes owning and managing a successful real estate agency, setting up and maintaining an appraisal service, and establishing a highly successful mortgage lending firm. He has been an approved FHA, VA, and Conventional loan underwriter, Chairman of the Board of the Better Business Bureau of Northeast Louisiana, and Director for the Northeast Louisiana Board of Realtors. Darryl was selected as a keynote speaker for the 2002 Louisiana Housing Conference.
Darryl is a Dean's Honor Roll graduate of Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma, with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and minors in Marketing and Computer Science. He served with the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam and received the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry--Bronze and Purple Heart.

Our History
Coldwell Banker Group One Realty is Northeast Louisianas #1 real estate company with offices in Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston. Its meteoric growth the past several years is a result of a commitment to full-time career agents who, in turn, are committed to education, technology, and providing customers state-of-the-art services when buying or selling real estate.
Group One Realty was founded by owner/broker Darryl Beasley in 1996 in a 1,750 sq. ft. office in West Monroe, Louisiana. In addition to over thirty years experience in the real estate profession, Darryl is also author of the nationally selling book, Everything About Home Loans, and host of his own radio program "Lets Talk Real Estate". His commitment to service and quality realtors led the company on an unprecedented growth path that continues today. The West Monroe office soon moved to a new 4,800 sq. ft. facility and then purchased its current 8,000 sq. ft. building at 2120 Cypress Street.
Wanting to expand to Monroe, Group One purchased a former "Re-Max" office and, together with the quality agents from that operation, opened a Monroe location near Forsythe Avenue. To accommodate Group Ones growing market in Monroe, a larger 3,500 sq. ft. building was purchased in 2001. To complete its coverage of Northeast Louisiana, a Ruston office (Louisiana Tech University) opened in 2001. Taking advantage of its extensive lending background, Group One Realty founded its own mortgage company "Mortgage One" in 1999, which today serves as one of Northeast Louisianas largest mortgage operations.
To bring technology and relocation services to its highest level, Group One Realty affiliated with "Coldwell Banker" effective January 1, 2002. Although Coldwell Banker Group One Realty continues to be owned and operated by Darryl A. Beasley, the Coldwell Banker Franchise proved to take the company to an even higher level. Coldwell Banker Group One Realty is committed to Full-Time Career Agents only. This does not mean an Agent cannot have another Business Interest or that they have to work any minimum number of hours per week. On the contrary, a number of our Agents work only 20 to 30 hours per week but produce a successful level of Business for their required lifestyle.
As Independent Contractors, Agents are not required to be in the office any certain times or days and can schedule their activities as they wish, with the exception of our Sales/Business Meetings one Wednesday of the month from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the West Monroe Office and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Monroe Office, and the following Thursday Morning in the Ruston Office from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Then one (1) optional Lunch and Learn meeting a month where agents from all three (3) offices meet together as a group where we bring in speakers from all four corners of the real estate world. Each Lunch and Learn Session is packed with information on the local and regional real estate sector. This meeting is also where we cover information that is important to all agents and offices within the Coldwell Banker Group One Family.
At the individual office meetings we announce the monthly and quarterly agent awards that are given out to the top agents in the company. The Louisiana Real Estate Commission requires us to keep Agents informed and updated in order to protect and better serve the public. We accomplish this in our individual office sales/business meetings.
Coldwell Banker Group One Realty does not accept Agents with other Full-Time Positions requiring a Fixed Number of hours per day (i.e. 8 Hrs). It has been our experience that Part-Time Agents (although there are many quality part-time agents in our field) simply cannot properly service their customers and maintain the training and knowledge required to stay at the pinnacle of this profession. Clients and Customers alike, often suspect working with Agents they perceive to be "Dabbling in a Profession that so significantly impacts their lives".
